GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING

Saturday morning enthusiastic family members arrived at the Divonne Parish rooms to learn how to construct and decorate gingerbread houses.

All the gingerbread house pieces were freshly baked by Gigi Talbot along with gingerbread men. As people arrived a set of house pieces, decorations and a bag of icing sugar was provided and Gigi gave an explanation of how to create a beautiful Gingerbread House.

Participants ranged in age from 3 year old children – through siblings – parents and grandparents. There were six children and twice as many adults all working and chatting together. Everyone had a great time decorating and constructing their gingerbread houses.

Gigi provided carrying boxes so we could proudly transfer our constructions safely home.
