At Council meetings from August onwards there was a lot of discussion on what fundraising events the church could run to help to break even with our budget. 1st SUNDAY IN ADVENT Our Christingle service fell on the first Sunday in Advent so as well as lighting the Christingles candles we also lit the first candle on our Advent Wreath. Two days before the service a team of volunteers assembled 100 Christingles in anticipation of the very popular service. In the service, as
