On Friday morning, 29th November, members of the WOW group, along with friends, spent a wonderful 2 hours making 100 christingles. These will be distributed at the Christingle church service on the first Sunday in advent, 01.12.24.

On Sunday 6th October, for the feast day of St. Francis, there was a very popular blessing of the animals service held in Gingins church. We gave thanks for all animals –  large and small, wild ones, farm animals and those in our own homes. We asked forgiveness for human cruelty and carelessness towards animals

Saturday 28th September 2024 Many thanks to everyone who prepared and hosted our indoor autumn Garden party. An enjoyable, welcoming afternoon, beautifully laid out, with music, delicious afternoon tea and Pimms.

The Harvest Festival in Divonne was very well attended. The service started outside church and move inside to carry on worshipping. The donated foods (including food bought with donated cash) were delivered to Restos du Coeur. This amounted to a huge 148kg of food and will be used to help 48 needy families (104 people).

This spring a 100 year old grand piano was donated to Gingins church. This is a wonderful gift but the piano will require costly attention to restore and tune the instrument.
