On Saturday 3 December we held a fund raising Auction Evening in Nyon. Over 70 people attended, including many not directly connected with the La Cote Church community. It was a fun evening with some great music, superb food and most of all wonderful company. People were very generous donating their talents, time and things for auction, and we have raised over CHF 10,000 and are still counting.
One of the objectives was to bring the community together after the Covid pandemic isolation, and as well as this evening, many of the auctioned lots also continue that theme with walks in the Jura, meals and various social classes.
Thank you to everyone involved and all the hard work and effort that went in to making this such a success.
