Sunday 1st December was the first Sunday of Advent. Advent is a time of waiting to celebrate the greatest gift ever given – the gift of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
On this day our first service was an early morning said eucharist at the church in Crassier. Here we were 11people who celebrated Communion as we lit the first candle on our Advent wreath.
The second service on this day was a family friendly Christingle service at our church in Gingins at 4pm. The church had been very beautifully decorated to make a very warm welcome as we entered the building.
The service was enjoyed by over 80 adults and children who were all delighted to receive a beautiful Christingle.
Afterwards we enjoyed delicious, mulled wine or spiced apple juice along with cakes and nibbles.
