Classical concert (trumpet and organ)

Our organist, Keith, will be accompanied by Christian, a semi-professional trumpet player. Together they will play many beautiful classical pieces put together around a central theme. Introduction to each piece of music will be done in English and French. Bring you family and friends to this momentous classical concert that will start off the new academic year. Keith and Christian have offered this as part of our fund raising campaign and hope that this will help to build our ministry in La Côte. Gala fundraising dinner

On Sat. 4 October, we are holding a GALA FUNDRAISING DINNER, in aid of our ministry at La Côte, both to our congregations and further afield, in the various projects we support. Where? At the Moulin de Chiblins in Gingins. How much? CHF85.- for an aperitif, a four-course dinner, entertainment and music. What sort of entertainment? Thereʼll be dancing to the sounds of the ʻ60s, plus an ʻAuction of Promisesʼ. Whatʼs an Auction of Promises? This is where we need you! Please be thinking about what you could offer in the way of your time, skills and talents that could be auctioned on the night. For example, could you offer a couple of hoursʼ babysitting, or to clean someoneʼs car, or gardening, or a lesson, a meal, help with a particular task, transport …? All these generous offers would then be put up for auction and you and your guests will be able to bid for them! Who can come? Itʼs open to everyone – tables are for 8-9 people, so please think about making up a table with your friends. It will be a great opportunity to extend the invitation beyond our church community. Whatʼs the theme? ORANGE! Nothing to do with phones, but the colour of the ʻseason of mists and mellow fruitfulnessʼ. More information?
